ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for DEC VTX V6.0 for OpenVMS VAX on OpenVMS VAX V5.4
through V6.1. This kit addresses the following problems:

o Could not load launchable pages to the infobase using the Update Server
o Crashes when existing the index selection dialog box.
o After pressing Pf2 for help, the search dialog dialog characters were
      not echoed back on screen.
o CBR group security problem with group numbers greater than 255
o Abnormal slave terminate giving server error SS$_NOTQUEUED
o Attempts to add binary and ascii pages in the same VTU file gave an RMS
      error
o Extracting large files using VTXUPD gave an RMS error
o The EXTRACT command in VTXUPD did not work when an output file was
explicitly specified with the /OUTPUT qualifier.
o The number of simultaneous VTX subscriber sessions allowed was being
reduced by 1 one for each UPDATE server that was started on the system.
o VAS$NAME now contains VTX usernames for ACU files to ensure
      compatibility with DEC VTX V4.1.
o The PageSeparator in the VTX.INI file did not work with the PRINT
      function.
o The VTX kit now installs without CDA being present on the system
o When using VTX from ALL-IN-1, the EXIT-SCREEN function (normally KP0)
did not work when invoked from the client with a goal-string.
o Several problems were fixed in connecting from the DOS client.

INSTALLATION NOTES:

The system/cluster does not need to be rebooted after this kit is installed.
However, DEC VTX V6.0 for OpenVMS VAX should be shutdown and restarted in
order for all kit changes to take effect.
