ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO kit exists for HYPERSORT.EXE on OpenVMS Alpha V7.1 through V7.1-1H2.
This kit addresses the following problems:
o When processing complex file types (i.e. RMS file types for
which we don't currently do our own record packing and
unpacking), there's no final HyperSort buffer into which an EOF
marker can be written.
At end-of-file processing when the NULL buffer pointer is
dereferenced from the packing context the ACCVIO occurrs.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
No reboot is necessary after successful installation of the kit.
