ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for ACMS Desktop V2.3 on OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2
through V7.1, OpenVMS Alpha V6.1 through V7.1 and Windows 95
(16-bit application). This kit addresses the following problems:

o The ACMS Desktop DECnet dynamic-link library (ACMSDIDN.DLL)
in this ECO kit fixes a problem that occurs when upgrading from
Windows V3.1, or Windows V3.11 for Workgroups, to Windows 95.

Generally Windows 95 executes sixteen-bit DLLs (created in
the Windows 3.x environment) without problems. However, the
DECnet DLL is an exception. When running the 16-bit version of
ACMSDIDN.DLL under Windows 95, DECnet returns error code 13 when
attempting to disconnect the socket. The socket remains connected
and after several login/logout sequences, DECnet runs out of
available connections and allows no more logins.
