Before you edit the registry, make sure you understand how to restore it if a problem occurs. Microsoft recommends using the SNA client Setup program to remove the client software. However, if this is not possible, the following procedures document how to manually remove either the SNA Windows 9x client or SNA Windows NT client included with SNA Server 4.0. MORE INFORMATION ================ Steps to Manually Uninstall SNA Server Client 4.0 ------------------------------------------------- Manually removing the SNA Windows 95 Client on Windows 9x and Windows NT: 1. Click Start, Run, and in the Open box type "Explorer" (without the quotation marks). 2. Locate the folder in which SNA Server 4.0 Client for Windows 95 was installed. The default is C:\Sna95. NOTE: If Service Pack 2 was included in the version of SNA Server Client 4.0, the default folder will be C:\Program Files\SNA95. 3. Rename the folder to Old_Sna95. For information about how to rename a folder, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type "renaming" (without the quotation marks), and then select the Renaming folders topic. 4. Remove the following folder: Windows 9x - Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft SNA Server Client Windows NT - WINNT\Profiles\%User%\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft SNA Server Client 5. Start a command prompt by following the steps for each operating system: Windows 9x 1. Click Start, click Programs, and then select MS-DOS Prompt. 2.
