CAUSE ===== This problem occurs because the PID included with the May 1999 Microsoft Certified Partner Welcome Kit and Monthly Mailer kits is incorrect. RESOLUTION ========== To resolve this issue, when you are prompted for the PID number during the BackOffice Server 4.5 installation process, type the first three digits of the PID included with the software package and then skip the fourth digit. You can then type the remainder of the 11 digit PID and continue with the server installation.
