CAUSE ===== This issue can occur if the Fcascsi.sys file is running on your computer. RESOLUTION ========== WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. To resolve this issue, follow these steps: 1. Create an emergency repair disk. Click Start, click Run, type "rdisk /s" (without the quotation marks) in the Open box, and then click OK. 2. Use the Regedt32.exe program to edit the following registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CURRENT_CONTROL_SET/SERVICES/FCA_SCSI/PARAMETERS/DEVICE where is number from 0 to 4. Edit the registry key to contain the following values: Value Value Data ---------------------------------------------------------------------- DriverParameter SCSI 1 32 4 125 64 LPORT 8 128 1 16 4096 0xFFFFFF (REG_SZ) MaximumLogicalUnit 0x08 (hex) NumberOfRequests 0x40 (hex) 3.
