Installation Instructions:

* Download one of the self-extracting executables from the list below, and
  place it into an empty temporary directory on the computer to be hotfixed.

  - Krnl40A.EXE  Hotfix for the Alpha platform
  - Krnl40I.EXE  Hotfix for the i386 platform
  - Krnl40P.EXE  Hotfix for the PPC platform

* Type the name of the hotfix (Krnl40I, for instance).  The hotfix will
  self extract as shown below:

C:\krnl-fix>Krnl40I
