Deep Freeze
Patients who choose to be cryonically frozen are - upon being pronounced dead - immediately injected with a special organ-preservation solution and with medications and nutrients that protect the cells. Once delivered to a cryonics lab (usually by special ambulance), bodies are placed in a Dewar, a large thermoslike tank filled with liquid nitrogen, and gradually cooled to -320 F.
