The Windows NT Resource Kit version 3.51 is now available from Microsoft Press. The utilities for the 3.51 Resource Kit are no longer available for free download from the FTP server, or any other online service. There are a few exceptions to this rule. The POSIX source code and utilities, the PERL source code, binaries, and support files, and the REXX source code, binaries, and support files can all be found on the FTP server. In addition, from time to time patches to other utilities will be made available to fix bugs in the products or add new functionality. In order to use these patches, you will need to have the original software from the Windows NT Resource Kit version 3.51 CD. *************************************************************************** ** To expand these files, run the self extracting executables with the ** ** "-d" option so that subdirectories are created. ** ** ** ** In addition, the PERL and POSIX directories contain files that will ** ** have their names converted to 8.3 names by the archiver.
