SYMPTOMS
========

When you configure the Microsoft Windows 95 and Microsoft Windows 98 SNA Server
client to connect through a firewall by using a list of addresses, the SNA
Windows 95 or Windows 98 client may only connect to the first entry in the
firewall registry entries.

CAUSE
=====

The SNA Server client is not searching beyond the first entry in the following
registry entry:

   HKeyLocalMachine\Software\Microsoft\SnaBase\Parameters\SnaTcp\FireWall\<list
   of firewall IP addresses>

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for SNA Server 4.0. For
additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
listed at the beginning of this article.

This problem was first corrected in SNA Server 4.0 Service Pack 4.
