SYMPTOMS
========

When using the SmsGetNextScalar and SmsGetScalarByName functions from the
"Microsoft Systems Management Server Software Developer's Kit" to retrieve the
scalar value for the Use Mandatory Time flag, it is always 0 (FALSE), even when
the value in the database is set to 1 (TRUE).

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Systems Management
Server version 1.2 Software Developer's Kit. We are researching this problem and
will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
available.
