SYMPTOMS ======== After you implement System Policies for Windows NT 4.0, you find that your Programs Folder is empty or shows the wrong contents when viewed from the Start Menu. This may also be the case with your Startup Folder, Desktop, Start Menu, or Network Neighborhood folders. CAUSE ===== The registry entry or entries that point(s) to the proper location is either incorrect or missing. RESOLUTION ========== WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall Windows. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
