This symptom occurs after the Server service properly deregisters with WINS when you stop the Server service by running Control Panel, choosing Services, and then choosing Stop. WORKAROUND ========== To work around this problem, shut down the Windows NT server and restart. STATUS ====== Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.51.
