If your Proliant 1500 has an integrated SCSI controller as its only SCSI host adapter, it fails to boot with the following error: STOP: 0x0000007B INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE -or- If you reconnect your boot disk to a secondary SCSI controller, you lose access to SCSI devices connected to the integrated controller. CAUSE ===== The Proliant 1500 contains an Integrated SCSI-Fast/Wide controller. Windows NT detects the controller as an NCRC810. Service Pack 2 includes a new NCRC810.SYS driver. This driver does not load on the Proliant 1500. STATUS ====== Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5. This problem has been corrected in Windows NT version 3.51.
