The Northwest Micro Pentium computer is not listed in the Windows NT Hardware Compatibility List (HCL). RESOLUTION ========== To correct this problem, you must modify the Registry. WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious, system-wide problems that may require you to reinstall Windows NT to correct them. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use this tool at your own risk. 1. Start the Registry Editor (REGEDT32.EXE) and locate the following Registry subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\NTBackup\Hardware 2. From the Edit menu, select Add Value. 3. Add the following: Value Name: Drive Settling Time Data Type: REG_SZ String: 120 NOTE: The default value is 60.
