ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for t64v51a_dxbook on Tru64 UNIX V5.1A through V5.1A.
This kit addresses the following problems: 

PROBLEMS ADDRESSED IN t64v51a_dxbook KIT

  o  The dxbook Bookreader viewer is absent from Tru64 UNIX V5.1A.
     This causes the following symptom when running the Bookshelf
     Navigation Utility (BNU) from the Online Documentation Library
     (ODL) for Tru64 UNIX Layered Products: Bookreader books in the
     ODL fail to open when their book title entry is double-clicked
     in the BNU. Also, any layered product or third-party software
     that depends on dxbook api library calls for their help menus
     or in other ways is effected. Known cases of such are X.500
     Directory Services and Enterprise Directory.

INSTALLATION NOTES:

This kit does not require a system reboot. Any components of a previous
Bookreader installation that are detected on the system are saved to a
_bak version.
