includes Tru64 UNIX V5.1B-4 and V5.1A Patch Kit 6.

Thank you for your continued support of the HP Tru64 UNIX Operating
System software. Please read this letter before installing or using
this product. This release is designed to expand hardware platform and
component support for HP Tru64 UNIX and HP TruCluster Server products,
and is only supported on Version 5.1A and Version 5.1B.

What Is the New Hardware Delivery CD? 

The purpose of the Tru64 UNIX New Hardware Delivery (NHD) kit is to
enable delivery of support for new hardware without having to provide
a new release of the operating system. This allows you to install new
hardware without having to update your operating system. The NHD CD
ROM provides only those modules necessary to support the new hardware,
thereby causing minimal incremental change to your operating system
environment.

Information About This CD 

The HP Tru64 UNIX New Hardware Delivery 7 for V5.1A and V5.1B CD
subsumes all previous NHD kits and functionality and adds support for
the following hardware:
 DA 75CAA AA and DA 75CAA AW: HP AlphaServer / AlphaStation DS15 Systems

Installation

HP Tru64 UNIX New Hardware Delivery 7 leverages and now includes
functionality inherent in the latest HP Tru64 UNIX Patch Kits. For
optimum performance as well as support from HP Customer Services, the
NHD installation procedure now automatically installs this kit for you
when you boot your NHD 7 CD. For V5.1B this NHD7 kit includes
Tru64 UNIX V5.1B-4 and for V5.1A this NHD7 kit includes Patch Kit 6.

HP Tru64 UNIX New Hardware Delivery 7 includes the Release Notes and
Installation Instructions in HTML, PDF, and PostScript
