This problem was reported on domains that have property lists (ACLs or Access Control Lists) defined. When ACLs are defined, fixfdmn incorrectly interprets that the property lists are improper and removes the AdvFS mcells (metadata) associated with these property lists. HP Tru64 Engineering has corrected this problem. [ Note: To determine whether or not ACL are enabled, refer to the reference page for getacl. ] The Patch Kit Installation Instructions and the Patch Summary and Release Notes documents provide patch kit installation and removal instructions and a summary of each patch. Please read these documents prior to installing patches on your system. The patches in this ERP kit will also be available in the next mainstream patch kit - Digital UNIX V4.0F Patch Kit PK8.
