Abstract: "mount_advfs" command can crash/KMF the Kernel





Description of Patch:

The "mount_advfs" command can crash/KMF the Kernel using incorrect

mount-cmd or "/etc/fstab" entries.



For example the crash can occur if "#FileSet" parameter/specification

is missing, for an AdvFS+CFS filesystem, in either the

"fstab" file or the "mount_advfs" cmd-line.



This patch fixes this issue.

into a directory that is NFS mounted on all domains e.g.

/nfs/<kit name> and install it as follows:

    Install the patch as follows:

    # cd /nfs/<kit name>

    # scrun -d all setld -l /nfs/<kit name> <kit name>

    # scrun -d all BuildKernels

    # scrun -d all DeployKernels

    # sra shutdown -domains all

    # sra boot -domains all



    To remove the patch use the following commands:

    # scrun -d all setld -d <kit name>

    # scrun -d all BuildKernels

    # scrun -d all DeployKernels

    # sra shutdown -domains all

    # sra boot -domains all
