This patch addresses a problem with the shutdown script on a client server,
when run from rsh using the  -h or  -r flags.  The system being shut down 
returns appropriate messages to the console, it however never shuts down
but appears to hang, preventing any further user interaction such as rlogin
or rsh.

This patch is MANDATORY.

This patch needs to be installed on all client and servers.
