This patch fixes a problem with the "mkdir -p" command.  "mkdir -p" would
not return an error if the last component in the pathname already exists.
After installing this patch, a similar error like the following will be
displayed if the last component in the pathname exists:

        mkdir: cannot create tmp.
        tmp: File exists
