This patch fixes a probem that affects systems using databases with the
btree file format.  Only applications using btree in libdb.a or libdb.so
are affected and they may return incorrect data or crash.

This bug is not easily reproducible. The btree bug can be observed in
large database applications that sometimes crash or access incorrect data.
