An update ECO kit exists for Tru64 UNIX 4.0A.  This is the aggregate, 
setld-based, patch kit for Tru64 UNIX 4.0A. It is a cumulative patch kit 
that contains all patches that are currently available for distribution. The 
patch kit provides the ability to selectively install patches.  

The Patch Summary and Release Notes and the Patch Kit Installation Instructions
documents provide patch kit installation and removal instructions and a summary
of each patch. Please read through the document prior to installing patches on
your system.

Installation Instructions documents are available in HTML and pdf
formats.


INSTALLATION NOTES:

1. Install this kit with the dupatch utility that is included in the patch
   kit. The Patch Summary and Release Notes and the Patch Kit Installation
   Instructions documents provide detailed patch installation, patch removal,
   and a summary of each patch. You may need to baseline your system if you
   have manually changed system files on your system. The dupatch utility
   provides the baselining capability.
