Processes such as wall or ntalkd, when connected to LAT terminal devices, 
are hanging when attempting to close, possibly because the LAT sessions 
have been disconnected abnormally. A tstack trace in dbx of a hung process 
should look similar to this:

This patch corrects the problem when using DIGITAL UNIX LAT to print to a 
printer connected to a PC running Pathworks (i.e. V5 or V6). The message
"I/O error" is displayed and nothing is printed.
