This patch fixes a halt/restart problem with the FDDI DEMFA driver when the
interface performs the ESP self tests.

Typical error messages in the /var/adm/messages file will include:

        mfa: port halted (eintr): xber = 0x8a, xpst = 0xc1805,
        xpd1 = 0x183f8000, xpd2 = 0x0, xpud = 0x8c5d001c

The 'c' in the XPST indicates that the ESP special test failed.
