Functional Changes to the SMTP Gateway The following list describes the changes that have been made to the SMTP Gateway, Version 1.1, in the SXA111 kit. o SXA111 now interworks with Version 1.3 of the MAILbus 400 MTA. o The SMTP Gateway setup procedure no longer fails when the local MTS name includes spaces. The SMTP Gateway Release Notes provide a more complete description of these problems. Installing SXA111 Before installing this ECO kit: 1. Ensure that the MTA that the SMTP Gateway connects to has been upgraded to Version 1.3. 2. Stop the SMTP Gateway. Deinstall any SMTP Gateway subsets al- ready installed on your system, using the following command: # setld -d SXABASE110 SXANETMAN110 SXADOC110 3. Install the SMTP Gateway SXA111 kit, using the following command: # setld -l . SXABASE111 SXANETMAN111 SXADOC111 4. After the installation, run the Gateway setup procedure as described in Section 3.3 of MAILbus 400 SMTP Gateway Managing. The setup procedure also starts the Gateway, if requested to do so. Even if you do not want to modify the directory entries relat- ing to the SMTP Gateway, you must accept the default value (y) in response to the following question: Do you want to modify the directory entries relating to the Gateway (y/n) [y] If you do not accept the default response, the SMTP Gateway will fail. 5. Start the Gateway, if it was not started during the setup procedure in Step 4.
