ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for MEP VT for DEC SNA 3270 Application Services V1.1
on OpenVMS VAX V5.5 or later. This kit addresses the following
problem:

The MEPRTL_R3270 corrupted data by prepending several NULL
characters to input data received, prior to passing it on to the
R3270_LIBSHR, which was running in passthru mode: for example,
when the terminal is a block mode, 3270 terminal or TE.

At this point in time this problem has shown up intermittently,
only when running a DECforms application on top of MEPVT/R3270 when
talking to a blockmode terminal. The occurance of this problem
resulted in the following DECforms error and termination of the
        DECforms application:

                FORMS-E-DEVERR, device I/O error
