ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for the MONITOR utility on OpenVMS Alpha V6.1 through
V6.1-1H2.  This kit addresses the following problems: 

Problems addressed in the AXPMONT01_061 Kit:

  o  If the MAXPROCESSCNT SYSGEN parameter is greater than 1040,
     MONITOR utility commands such as "MONITOR SYSTEM" or 
     "MONITOR PROCESS" may fail with the following error:

        %MONITOR-E-COLLERR, error during data collection
        -SYSTEM-F-BADPARAM, bad parameter value

     Commands that are not process-oriented, such as 
     "MONITOR MODES", work as expected.


INSTALLATION NOTES:

The system does not need to be rebooted after this kit is installed.

However, if you have other nodes in your VMScluster, they should be
rebooted or you should install this kit on each system in order to make
use of the new image(s).
