Also, the two transmit modem signals DTR (Data Terminal Ready) and RTS (Request To Send) could not be set to the "ON" state independently. They could only be set to "ON" together. 5 PROBLEMS ADDRESSED IN AXPYRDR01_015 KIT o On DEC 3000 model 300/400/500 systems a flow control problem on port TTA1 can occur which would have the effect of putting the TTA1 port into the XOFF state. This would cause the Printer/Plotter to stop in the middle of a job and remain there. -- COVER LETTER -- Page 2 6 January 1995 6 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Install this kit with the VMSINSTAL utility by logging into the SYSTEM account, and typing the following at the DCL prompt: @SYS$UPDATE:VMSINSTAL AXPTTDR02_015 [location of the saveset] The saveset location may be a tape drive, or a disk directory that contains the kit saveset. System should be rebooted after successful installation of the kit. If you have other nodes in your VMScluster, they should also be rebooted in order to make use of the new image(s).
