This program can help you learn to read music. I designed it for my three- year-old son Tom who has become quite proficient at it. I have found that people much older than that (like me) have just as much fun with this game. To install this game just make sure that the NOTEFACE.EXE file and the NOTEFCE1.DLL file reside in the same directory. In Windows 3.1 open the games group and choose New... under the File menu. Press OK to accept the default of Program Item. Choose the Browse Button and find the NOTEFACE.EXE program. The Icon will come up in your Games group. If you are running this program for a small child, start by filtering out all notes except one. After the child gets good at finding that one note, add another one (perferably close in proximity to the first). You will find that it won't be long before he/she has no trouble at all with all of the notes. I enjoyed writing this program and hope you have fun running it. I also have an expanded version of Noteface that has both a treble and bass clef as well as different key signatures for the advanced gamesman. It is available for the nominal sum of 5 dollars.
