Super Slots  V1.2

Description:

Super Slots is a slot machine type program that is very graphically interactive. The
slot wheels can be changed from a standard Las Vegas style with fruit, to an NFL type
with team logos. The application will keep track of your score on each spin and keep
a running tally of your bank. The program has realistic sound effects.


Requirements:

- Windows 3.x

- VBRUN300.DLL installed in your Windows or System directory. This file may already be
in your system. Many other programs require this file. You may have received it already
without knowing so. Otherwise, this file can be found almost anywhere where Windows
software is available for downloading. Usually titled: VBRUN300.ZIP.


Installation:

- Run Install.exe using the RUN option from the file menu of Windows Program Manager or 
double click on the Install.exe icon from the File Manager.

- Follow the directions of the install program.


Installation should have placed the following files in the identified directories:

- sslots.exe in the install directory you specified.

- sslots.txt in the same directory as the executable file.

- All *.Wav files in the same directory as the executable file.

  money5.wav
  slotspul.wav

- All *.VBX, and *.DLL files in Windows\System directory.
  3dlabel.vbx
  vbpic3d.vbx
  vbpicbtn.vbx
  Cmdialog.vbx

Distribution:

- Super Slots is distributed as Shareware. The Author maintains all rights to the
program in its entirety. 

- Super Slots may be distributed freely as long as the integrity of Shareware is maintained.

- In the tradition of Shareware, the author grants a 30 day trial period to the user to
decide whether they want to keep the program. If so, a $10 donation is required. If not,
then before the 30 days is up, you must delete the program from your system. Previous
registered users will have a half-price discount.



Important Notice:

Because of the file structure of, users should take caution when changing and
copying the files to a new directory from the original installation directory. Some 
files are created using the original directory. Validated users may lose their validation 
information. Validated users should write down their validation number in case they
change directories.

this program by loading it on their computer. At no time is the author responsible for any
hardware or software malfunctions caused by this program. Though the author knows of no
such problems from this software, he is not liable if any should occur.

NOTE:
The author is requesting a donation for his labor in developing the code for this program.
The visual graphics of NFL team logos are NOT included in the donation request. The author
cannot and will not charge a monetary fee for the NFL team graphics in this application.
Any monies sent to the author is solely for the use of program code not the NFL graphics.

- Added an Auto-Spin feature to allow automatic wheel spins at set time intervals.

- Added realistic sound options when a the handle is pulled and a winning spin
is acheived.

- Added a spin counter to display the total amount of spins completed.

- Added a choice between $.25 bets and $1.00 bets to make it optional.

- Added the ability to save scores and recall them.

- Added ability to clear scores with the "New" function.

- Changed the background color to black vice white. Shortened the window display.

- Changed status window to always be visible.

- Reformated Unregistered Shareware 'Nag' screens.
 


V1.2
- This is a fix for v1.1. An invalid directory path was hardcoded into V1.1. This
version is a fix. V1.1 was never officially released.
