the Linux operating system.

Installation Instructions
-------------------------
1.  As the root user, uncompress the ACROREAD.GZ file using the gunzip
    command with its -c option to redirect the output to a writable
    directory.  For example:
    
     # gunzip -c ACROREAD.GZ > /tmp/acroread.tar

2.  Unpack the tar archive.

3.  Read the file INSTGUID.TXT for installation steps, substituting
    acroread.tar for the file name given in the instructions.
