gss_import_sec_context(3)
NAME
gss_import_sec_context - Import a security context established by another
process.
SYNOPSIS
#include <gssapi/gssapi.h>
OM_uint32 gss_import_sec_context(
OM_uint32 * minor_status,
const gss_buffer_t interprocess_token,
gss_ctx_id_t * context_handle );
PARAMETERS
minor_status
Kerberos 5 error code.
interprocess_token
Token received from the exporting process. After this call, the
token is no longer needed.
context_handle
Security context imported by this function.
The application must release resources associated with the context
after use with a call to gss_delete_sec_context().
DESCRIPTION
The gss_import_sec_context() function allows a process to import a security
context established by another process.
A given interprocess token should be imported only once.
Note
Because of the way sequence numbers are incremented in security
contexts, a single security context must not be used with multiple
initiators and acceptors.
After use, the application must release resources associated with the
context with a call to gss_delete_sec_context().
