In the boot command, replace the number sign (#) with the slot number for your FDDI card; for example:


>>> boot 2/ez0

To determine the slot number, look at the slot where your FDDI card is installed and then find the number for that slot.

Before you boot over the network, your system must be registered with the RIS server and you will need to know your FDDI address. To determine your FDDI address, use the following command: t tc# cnfg

Replace the number sign ( # ) with the slot number of your FDDI card; for example:
