This CD-ROM contains a searchable index covering all of the books and reference pages on the CD-ROM. To use the AltaVista Search CD-ROM feature, follow these steps:

1. Mount the CD-ROM on a PC running Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, or Windows NT Version 4.0, with Version 4.0 or higher of Microsoft Internet Explorer or of Netscape Navigator or Communicator.

2. Launch your browser and open the Tru64 UNIX Documentation Library. (If you have AutoPlay enabled, the browser will automatically start and open the library.)

3. Click the AltaVista Search button in the Table of Contents, and follow the instructions in the window that your browser opens.
