If you will install ConsoleOne on a NetWare server, unload all Java processes and JAVA.NLM on that server.
To see the active Java processes, enter JAVA -SHOWALL at the console prompt.
To unload all Java processes, enter JAVA -KILLALL at the console prompt.
To unload JAVA.NLM, enter JAVA -EXIT at the console prompt.
Download the ConsoleOne file to a temporary location on a Windows workstation. This file is a Windows executable. Double-click the C1.EXE file that you just downloaded. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. When you are prompted to choose the location to install to, choose either a drive mapped to a server volume or choose a local workstation drive.
The steps to start ConsoleOne on Windows depend on where ConsoleOne is installed.

NetWare volume | Map a drive (with a letter, not a UNC path) to the NetWare
volume. On the NetWare volume, browse to PUBLIC\MGMT\CONSOLEONE\1.2\BIN. Double-click CONSOLEONE.EXE. |
Local hard disk | On the Windows desktop, double-click the ConsoleOne icon. |
Depending on whether the server GUI is up, complete the appropriate steps:
GUI Is Up | Steps |
Yes | Switch to the GUI. Click Novell > ConsoleOne. |
No | At the console prompt, enter C1START. |
