The 56-bit version of Novell® eDirectory 8.6.2 for all supported platforms is available for free for evaluation in non-production environments. If you want to run Novell eDirectory 8.6.2 in a production environment, you need to purchase the 128-bit version. If you are a Novell eDirectory 8.6.1 customer, the upgrade to Novell eDirectory 8.6.2 is available for free for use in production environments.
The installation program requires a license for Novell eDirectory 8.6.2. Before installing, prepare a license diskette.

System Requirements
If you are using RCONSOLE, you need a ConsoleOne administrator workstation that has 64 MB of RAM (128 recommended) and a 200 MHz or faster processor.

You can install the components separately or together.
You will be prompted for an eDirectory license. Use the license diskette that you created earlier.
