Novell* Client* v4.8 for Windows** NT/2000 is the latest Windows
NT/2000 client software release available from Novell. It supersedes all
previous Windows NT/2000 client releases and contains all of the functionality
included in previous clients. No diskette installation is available for
this product.
The Novell Client for Windows NT/2000 software allows users of Windows
NT/2000 workstations to access and use all of the services available on
servers running NDS*. The 32-bit Novell Client product brings the full power,
ease of use, manageability, and security of NDS to Windows NT/2000 workstations.
Novell Client for Windows NT/2000 fully supports NetWare* and NDS services
and utilities on a Windows NT/2000 workstation, including integrated messaging,
multiprotocol support, management, security, and file and print services.
Novell Client for Windows NT/2000 is compatible with ZENworks* for
Desktops 3 and ZENworks for Desktops 2. This version of Novell Client does not
include the ZENworks for Desktops 2 Starter Pack. The Starter Pack is available at
www.novell.com/download.
The ZENworks for Desktops 2 Starter Pack does not include
some of the features in the complete ZENworks product. For more information on

Warning: If you are upgrading from a previous version of Novell Client
and you had Remote Management enabled for ZENworks for Desktops 2, this functionality is
not automatically upgraded to ZENworks for Desktops 3 Remote Management
when you upgrade Novell Client to version 4.8. If you want to upgrade the Novell Client
software but you will not be upgrading to ZENworks for Desktops 3, make sure that you
read the Readme file (WINNT.TXT) for more information before upgrading.
