Once you install the OpenGL Volumizer from
http://www.sgi.com/software/volumizer/ check out the demos in
/usr/share/Volumizer. While none of them can claim a full-blown-viewer
status
(primarily due to GUI-free design), you can use them as a good starting
point.
If your application is going to use OpenGL immediate mode, voglCache is your
best bet. If you like Open Inventor, try voivViewer, and if you are a fan
Perfomer, try perfvol. Make sure to read up on our Graphics API roadmap
before making these decisions. Let me know if you need more specific advice.
