The ODBC 3.0 SDK will only be available here for download until the ODBC 3.0 SDK becomes available on MSDN subscription. This is expected to happen for the January 1997 release of MSDN. Once MSDN starts shipping the ODBC 3.0 SDK, it will be removed from this sharepoint. The SDK will be shipped
as a part of the Microsoft Developer Network's "Development Platform" CD's.

Note:  
(1)We have loaded an ODBC SDK 1.05 interim component release into the ODBC
library.  This not a complete release; it includes a few components and
specification updates that will be included in the SDK 2.0 release..  This update
is considered "released" rather than "beta"  and may be redistributed with your
applications under the ODBC SDK 1.0 license agreement.  The included
functionality is for the cursor library and new installer functions.  The ODBC
SDK v2.0 is now released and is available on the MSDN II CD (aka "Developer Platform).
(2) Note that since the ODBC Desktop Database Drivers v. 2.0 have been released, the
hotfix to v 1.0 Access driver available here may be of little use. Use this only
if you are not upgrading to version 2.0 for some reason. Microsoft strongly recommends
that you do upgrade to v.2.0. The press release and Q&A doc are available in ../odbc-mrktg.
(3) If you have win32s installed, then installing the SQL Server driver will cause
errors. To get around it, download odbc32.exe, explode it and copy the dlls to the setup
disk. 
(4) Note that odbc25.zip includes updated ODBC 2.5 32-bit redistributable components and 
32-bit ODBC Test. Microsoft invites you to download these components and try them out.
