Outlook Express is an e-mail client and newsreader included with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0. MORE INFORMATION ================ To configure Outlook Express to read Internet newsgroups on netnews.msn.com, follow these steps: 1. Start Outlook Express. If you are prompted to connect to MSN, The Microsoft Network, click Cancel. 2. On the Tools menu, click Accounts. 3. Click the News tab. 4. Click Add, and then click News. 5. In the Display Name box, type your name as you would like it to appear when you post messages to Internet newsgroups, and then click Next. 6. In the E-mail Address box, type your MSN e-mail address, and then click Next. 7. In the News (NNTP) Server box, type "netnews.msn.com" (without quotation marks). 8. Click to select the "My news server requires me to log on" check box, and then click Next. 9. Click "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)," and then click Next. 10. In the Internet News Account Name box, type "netnews.msn.com" (without quotation marks), and then click Next. 11. Click "I will establish my Internet connection manually", and then click Next. 12.
