MORE INFORMATION ================ To configure your modem to connect to MSN, use one of the following methods. NOTE: These methods are correct if you use MSN as your Internet service provider (ISP) and you connect with a modem. If you use another ISP to connect to MSN, contact your ISP to configure your modem connection. Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x ------------------------------- 1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. Double-click Internet. 3. On the Connection tab, click "Connect to the Internet as needed." 4. In the "Use the following Dial-Up Networking connection" box, click MSN. 5. Click the "Connect through a proxy server" check box to clear it. 6. Click OK. Internet Explorer 4.0 --------------------- 1. Right-click the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop, and then click Properties. 2. On the Connection tab, click "Connect to the Internet using a modem," and then click Settings. 3. In the "Use the following Dial-Up Networking connection" box, click MSN. 4. In the User box, type "MSN/" (without quotation marks), where is your MSN member identification. 5. In the Password box, type your MSN password in lower case. 6. Click OK, and then click OK.
