SYMPTOMS
========

When you disconnect from MSN, The Microsoft Network, the computer may stop
responding (hang).

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if an older version of the Vnbt.386 file is 
located in the Windows folder.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods:

Method 1
--------

NOTE: Use this method only if you are using a stand-alone computer.

1. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files Or Folders.

2. In the Named box, type "vnbt.386" (without quotation marks), and 
   then click Find Now.

3. Right-click the Vnbt.386 file in the list of found files, and then
   click Delete.

4. Restart the computer.

Method 2
--------

NOTE: Use this method if your computer is on a network.

1. Obtain an updated version of the Vnbt.386 file. For information 
   about updating the Vnbt.386 file, please see the following article 
   in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

2. Resolve conflicts between older TCP/IP files with a .386 extension
   and the Windows 95 version of TCP/IP. For information about resolving
