This alternative installation might be necessary if your CD-ROM drive does not support long filenames. MORE INFORMATION ================ If you get multiple "file not found" errors while running the Setup program from the CD-ROM, your current CD-ROM driver does not support long filenames. Listed below are two solutions to this problem: - Obtain an updated Microsoft Windows 95 driver for your CD-ROM drive that supports long filenames. -or- - Use the following steps to run the Setup program. Alternative steps to install the CD-ROM --------------------------------------- 1. Create a temporary directory on your hard drive. For example: C:\Setup. 2. Copy the entire contents of the \Setup directory on the compact disc to the C:\Setup directory. 3. Copy the new SETUP.LST file included in OPVB_SET.EXE to the C:\Setup directory. See instructions below for information on how to obtain OPVB_SET.EXE. 4. Run the Setup program from the C:\Setup directory. 5. Empty and delete the C:\Setup directory.
