CAUSE ===== If only one access number is available in your area and you click Cancel during sign-up, the backup access number box remains blank. If the backup number is blank, you receive an error message stating that the phone numbers are not valid when you try to connect. RESOLUTION ========== Select a backup access number. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Right-click the MSN icon on the desktop, and then click Connection Settings. 2. Click Access Numbers. 3. Click the Change button next to the Backup box, and then click an appropriate backup access number for your area. 4. Click OK until you return to Windows.
