Sound Driver for RISC-based ARC-Compliant Computers (93786)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows NT Server 3.1
- Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 3.1
This article was previously published under Q93786 SUMMARY
The Olivetti M700-10, a RISC-based Advanced RISC Computing (ARC)
compatible computer, has sound capability built into the motherboard.
However, running the Sound application in the Windows NT Control Panel on
this computer produces the error:
No suitable wave output device available.
The driver for this board is not currently available. A new sound driver
is needed because the audio chip in the M700-10 differs from the ones in
other ARC computers, such as the Jazz/PWS4000.
