SUMMARY

Works for Windows Version 3.0

If graphics inserted into a word processing document in Microsoft Works for Windows are not displayed, from the View menu, make sure that Draft View is not selected. If Draft View is selected, a dotted box the size of the graphic appears on the screen in place of the graphic. However, the graphic prints and appears in print preview.

To display the graphic, from the View menu, choose Normal or Page Layout.

NOTE: If the graphic is an Absolute Positioned Object, it will only show up in Page Layout view

Works for Windows Version 2.x

If graphics inserted into a word processing document in Microsoft Works for Windows are not displayed, from the Options menu, make sure that Draft View is not selected. If Draft View is selected, a dotted box the size of the graphic appears on the screen in place of the graphic. However, the graphic prints and appears in print preview.

To display the graphic, choose Draft View from the Options menu to clear the selection.

MORE INFORMATION

Draft View affects the display of graphics inserted or copied from Microsoft Draw, the Works for Windows Chart and the Windows clipboard, as well as the font used for display. Because it speeds up screen redraw, it can be used for quick text entry. It does not affect printing.
