This WebCast discusses expectations for the Microsoft Windows Vista Beta software and the Microsoft Windows Vista Release Candidate 1 (RC1) software. This WebCast discusses reasons to install Windows Vista RC1. This WebCast describes some of the presenter's favorite new features. These features include User Account Control and the new Backup facilities. This WebCast also describes some of the new features for managing and using digital media, new games such as Mahjong Titans, and the new DVD Maker.

Charlie examines what "Beta" really means and what is involved in the beta experience. Charlie shares his favorite picks from the Windows Vista RC1 that was released to the Customer Preview Program in September 2006.
