An ISA Server 2004 Web chaining rule may not redirect requests to the specified port (922899)

SYMPTOMS

You configure a Web chaining rule in Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004. However, the Web chaining rule does not redirect requests to the port that you specified.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you configure a Web chaining rule to use a port other than the default SSL port 443. The ISA Server 2004 Web chaining rule always redirects requests to the default SSL port 443 regardless of the port that you configure.

RESOLUTION
