This article discusses that the Groove Meetings and Calendar tools cannot exchange information with Microsoft Outlook Express. To use this feature, you must have Microsoft Outlook installed.

Groove to Outlook integration features require that you have Microsoft Outlook 2000, Microsoft Outlook 2002, or Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 installed. If you do not have one of these versions installed, and you only have Outlook Express installed, you experience the following behavior:

If you are using Groove Virtual Office 3.x, the Publish All Events to Microsoft Outlook option is unavailable.
If you are using a version of Groove Workspace 2.x that includes the feature to export to Microsoft Outlook, the Publish All Events to Outlook option on the Options menu appears available. However, when you click Publish All Events to Outlook, you receive the following error message:
Microsoft Outlook must be installed in order to use this feature.
